Private pay means the family funds care directly from savings, income or a home sale, with no insurer or benefit involved. We price hourly, daily and live in care openly, and we tell you what is billed separately before you sign anything.
This is the most common way families around Orlando start. There is no claim to file and no approval to wait for, which means care can begin this week. The risk is different: it is very easy to commit to more hours than the budget survives, feel the strain in month two, and pull the whole thing apart just as your parent was getting used to somebody.
So we do it the other way round. We work out what you can carry for a year, and we design the week inside that. If the honest answer is that a full time schedule is not affordable, I would rather say so and help you build a smaller one that lasts.

Hours, days, the rate, and what falls outside it. One page, in plain English or Spanish, so you can show it to a sibling who is not on the call.
3. A caregiver you meet before they start
You meet them first. If it is not a fit we change it, and that is not a difficult conversation to have with us.
4. We revisit it on purpose
Needs change. Every few months we look at whether the hours still match the week, up or down. Down happens more often than agencies admit.
